Another movie I watched over this holiday season was Soul on Disney+. This was a movie that I honestly wasn't expecting too much from, however it legitimately surprised me. This Pixar film was different from their others in that it isn't a movie aimed towards children with aspects adults can appreciate, rather this felt like a film targeted at adults. There are some very mature themes at play such as one's purpose on Earth, finding a reason for being alive, etc. These themes don't seem like they would really resonate with a younger audience, but they really hit home for adults. It especially hits home for people at turning points of their lives. This is an extremely well-crafted film and could arguably be a very important one for people that might be struggling with their "purpose" in life. It certainly doesn't hurt either that Pixar has some of the best animation in the business, and Soul has some beautiful and at times breathtaking moments. This is a film that absolutely knows its message, and is all the better for it. This one is a must-watch if you get the chance.
