Wow...

I need to start checking my calendar more often. A specific date snuck up on me when I wasn't ready, but I'm glad it did. I heard back from the NYC Midnight screenwriting competition. I made to the next round. In fact, I not only made it to the next round, I placed 2nd in my heat. I now have another prompt that I'll start working on come Friday morning. Upon receiving it, I will then have 3 days to write an 8-page screenplay on it. I think I'm in shock. I didn't expect this news, but I'm exceedingly happy to have received it. I have a couple days before I get my prompt. For now, I think it's time for a celebratory drink. Cheers.
