First Word Back

I had finished two of my Norse shorts and felt pretty confident about them. This was just about time for me to hear back from my college's competition. I had felt pretty confident about my first 40 pages so I held some somewhat high hopes as I opened the email. They listed the winners and I, sadly, was not among them. I didn't let that get me down however. I took the opportunity as experience and kept working on my screenplay. I figured I should at the very least finish the story I had started and see what I could come up with.
