House of Pain Style
This new full-length is going very well so far and has me feeling very excited for where it's going! My brain is almost constantly going with ideas for scenes and how things can connect together. With this, it can sometimes be difficult to find the connections that make the scenes work together. This ultimately kind of holds me back at times from being able to actually write these scenes. I decided to say it wasn't worth the torment and I started just writing scenes that seemed interesting. This jumping around ended up being super productive and healthy for the story! I was actually able to get a lot written instead of just feeling stuck forever. A lot of the scenes wound up flowing together in the end, and I was able to get the sequences in my head down on the page. This made more room for new scenes, and the story has been moving along well since.
