It's Done

After much deliberation, I narrowed it down to one screenplay that felt the most solid. It fit the prompts as much as possible and, after a few changes to the ending, felt good to me. The struggle with this round was that the prompt was a little limiting. I'm not sure how much I'm able to reveal, but the topic felt too narrowing to truly get really creative with it. I discussed it with my girlfriend and it almost feels like this round will be about seeing who can write the best version of the same story. The unfortunate thing is that I now have to wait about another month to hear back. In the mean time I'll probably forget about it again and hopefully get surprised in the same way again.
