The First Round

The NYC Midnight competition has officially begun. I received my prompt, and it luckily wasn't anything too unmanageable for me. I went on to Coggle and started mapping out some ideas attacking the prompt from different angles. Before long I had a few pretty solid bases for stories, so I got writing. I wrote out three different short stories that all came out fairly well in my opinion. I got some feedback from some trusted readers on which they felt was the best. After an almost universal decision, I chose one of my stories to look over and work in feedback. I have the spare time, so I'm going to polish it up to a bright sheen before submitting it and hoping for the best.
